Milk thistle is a plant/herb whose fruit and seeds have been used to treat liver and biliary disorders. It contains a high amount of silymarin, which is a complex mixture of flavonolignans that may help stabilize cellular membranes, stimulate detoxification pathways, stimulate regeneration of liver tissue, inhibit the growth of certain cancer cell lines, and potentially increase the efficacy of certain chemotherapy agents.

Suggested Use
